Since 1989, Highland Coffees, located at the historic North Gates of LSU, has been a popular destination for faculty, staff, and students from the university, as well as customers from across Baton Rouge. The finest green coffees from around the world are imported and roasted right in the shop. The shop also features over twenty-five excellent loose teas. Every specialty coffee and tea drink is available and made with the highest quality ingredients and great care. Local specialty bakers provide delicious pastries. Seating is abundant and includes a spacious courtyard.

Light House Coffee exists to serve the world through a Baton Rouge coffee experience. We provide an inviting space to sip on a cup of specialty coffee or other beverage of choice. Behind the counter, we carefully choose coffee roasters who source their beans through direct trade. This ensures that coffee farmers receive as much compensation as possible for their product and labor. We are also intentional about hiring and training our staff in order to give opportunities to displaced people who have come to our city. The Vintage is serious about coffee offering unique proprietary blends of small batch roasted coffee done locally by true artisans of the trade.
